Essential local storage
The website uses browser localStorage to remember your language, navigation preferences and assembly progress, and saves your analytics cookie choice for 180 days. This essential storage is not used for advertising. You can delete it through your browser settings. Choosing Essential only does not affect configuration, manuals, 3D previews or export features. When supported by your browser, IndexedDB also remembers the read-only model folder handle so it can reconnect after refresh. You may need to approve read access again. When directory access is unsupported, matched model copies are saved locally in IndexedDB and restored after refresh without uploading. Reconnect after changing the original files. Clearing site data removes saved handles and model copies. Limited space or private browsing may prevent storage.
Microsoft Clarity and analytics cookies
The website loads Microsoft’s Clarity SDK with analytics and advertising storage denied by default, both before you choose and when you select “Essential only”. Cookieless mode measures visits, clicks and scrolling and may include single-page heatmaps and session replay. It does not use Clarity cookies to connect page visits or recognize returning visitors. Each pageview is counted separately, so unique visitor counts, sessions and active time have accuracy limits. Only after you select “Allow analytics cookies” do we allow analytics cookies to connect page visits and recognize returning visitors. Advertising storage consent remains denied. We do not send user accounts, custom identities or freely entered event labels to Clarity.
In both cookieless and cookie-enabled modes, Microsoft may process page URLs, referrers, IP addresses, browser, device and interaction information. Clarity may process data in countries or regions where Microsoft operates its services. Network restrictions, browser privacy settings and blockers may affect analytics availability. Local models and content masking
Folder connections, STL reading, mesh checks and online color export run in your browser. Original model file contents are not uploaded to analytics services. Page text and inputs use masking settings. A limited set of fixed action events (such as opening the packager) are sent only after analytics cookie consent. Search terms, project names, file contents and local folder paths are not sent as event parameters. Clarity does not record the contents of operating-system file pickers.
The optional “Send to Bambu Studio” feature requires you to run and approve a local Node.js connector. Generated 3MF is sent only to 127.0.0.1:18765 and saved under the operating system’s temporary vault-studio-connector directory. It does not pass through the cloud or start printing. Close the connector terminal to disable it; its temporary files can be removed after closing the project.
Changing your choice
Use “Cookie settings” in the website footer to allow analytics cookies or choose “Essential only”. Withdrawing consent deletes Clarity cookies accessible to this website and immediately returns to cookieless mode for limited analytics, without reloading the page. Withdrawal does not delete data already sent to Microsoft. Manage cookies on third-party domains through your browser settings. Do not put personal or sensitive information in website URL query parameters.
